Boston Consulting Group: five new associate directors in the Casablanca office

World leader in strategy consulting, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) announced this Monday morning the appointment of five new associate directors within its Casablanca office. With thirteen associate directors, the Casablanca office reflects the development of the group, towards a diversity of expertise such as technology, AI and innovation.

Based in Morocco for 4 years after an international professional career, Badr Choufari is now associate director for BCG Casablanca. Specialized in social and economic development, it plays a key role in centers of expertise in the public sector, social impact and infrastructure.

Appointed associate director in 2024, Nabil Mikou joined BCG ten years ago, and has focused on large-scale strategic and technological transformations in Africa, Europe and South America. In his new role within BCG scaling up disruptive solutions with high impact for businesses and society.

In charge of the development of BCG Platinion, dedicated to supporting technological and digital transformations, Abdelhakim Hamane brings cutting-edge technological expertise, particularly in digital transformation and advanced IT architecture, after around twenty years of experience in Morocco and Europe.

Recognized specialist in the industrial sector and raw materials, after more than fifteen years of experience, Emile Detry is appointed within BCG. It supports leaders in mining, metallurgy, chemicals, construction materials and renewable energies in their growth strategies, operational transformation and energy transition, in Morocco and Africa.

For his part, Younès Zikrem is director of BCG’s public sector expertise center in Morocco. For several years, he has advised public and private decision-makers on major strategic subjects, such as foreign investments, international trade and agricultural development.

As part of these appointments, Hamid Maher, dsenior associate director and head of the Casablanca officesaid these appointments reflected the ambition “to enrich BCG’s offering by combining strategic, digital and technological expertise to meet the needs of challenges of our customers”.
