  • The public can enjoy this cantonal dish from midday until it runs out.

Friday, fish day? Next Friday, we will make an exception: we will – of course – eat papet and cabbage sausage for celebrate Vaudois independence. For seven editions now, GastroVaud offers the lunch plate in ten Vaud towns. First come, first served. The papet and sausage are free, thanks to the partnership with the Charcuterie Vaudoise IGP Association and the Vaudoise Federation of Vegetable Producers, which respectively provide 1,700 rings of cabbage sausages and 850 kilos of leeks.

Everyone will therefore be able to taste the cantonal dish without spending a cent. But this year, GastroVaud is encouraging gourmets to open their wallets. The restaurant umbrella is joining forces with Planets Sick Childrenwhich is celebrating its 25th anniversary. This foundation offers hospitalized children and adolescents recreational and fun activities, to give them extra joy and happiness.
