Royal Air Maroc Cargo strengthens, thanks to its connections linking Casablanca to São Paulo and Toronto, commercial exchanges with the American continent

Thanks to its new direct connections linking Casablanca to São Paulo (GRU) and Toronto (YYZ), marking a significant step forward in the development of its operations on the American continent, Royal Air Maroc Cargo is strengthening trade with the American continent.

The flights, inaugurated recently, are part of a strategy dedicated to strengthening global connectivity through the central hub of Casablanca (CMN). These new destinations expand the company’s network in the Americas, which already includes direct flights to Montreal, New York, Washington and Miami.

The reopening of the Casablanca-São Paulo line establishes a direct link between the economic and financial capitals of Morocco and Brazil. Operated three times a week (Monday, Thursday and Saturday), the connection departs from Casablanca at 4:40 p.m. (local time) and lands in São Paulo at 10:20 p.m. (local time). Return flights depart São Paulo at 12:20 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Casablanca at 1:15 p.m.

“Brazil and Morocco have a long-standing partnership, and this new line to São Paulo illustrates our ambition to become a key player in connecting these two dynamic economies”declared Mr. Yassine Berrada, Vice-President Cargo of Royal Air Maroc. “This direct service supports the growth of trade between our two nations, while opening expanded opportunities to West Africa, Turkey and the Middle East through our Casablanca hub.”

The connection to Toronto, also operated three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), is part of the same logic of expansion. Flights departing from Casablanca are scheduled at 4:45 p.m. (local time) for arrival in Toronto at 7:25 p.m. (local time), while return flights depart Toronto at 9:30 p.m. (local time) to land in Casablanca at 10:50 a.m. Toronto thus becomes Royal Air Maroc’s second direct destination in Canada after Montreal.

The reception given to this new route was enthusiastic, with the inaugural flight sold out just a few hours after the announcement of its launch.

“Our connection with Toronto strengthens ties with our diaspora and boosts trade by enabling the transport of products such as citrus fruits, processed foods and traditional Moroccan crafts, while facilitating the importation of essential commodities such as wheat. or aeronautical spare parts”emphasized M. Berrada.

With these new routes, Royal Air Maroc Cargo reaffirms its central role in the development of economic exchanges between Morocco, the Americas and other strategic markets.
