The three are winners of a call for projectsand will therefore benefit from a state aid dedicated to innovation.

In three years, nearly 25 million euros injected into the Channel

With France 2030, the objective is to support industrial transformation, to support innovation and training through public investment. To date, 38 billion euros have been committed by the State throughout the country. This represents more than 5,000 projects throughout France, more than half of which concern SMEs and mid-sized companies. We select one application in four, based on two criteria: excellence and impact in terms of technology, environment and social responsibility.

La Manche is one of these unexpected territories of the country, sometimes little-known, but marked by strong emulation and a desire to innovate, continues the Secretary General for Investment. In the department, the significant share of PMI and ETI among the winners of the France 2030 calls for projects reflects the great dynamism of the economic fabric.

Different sectors supported

The Oreka company, in Cherbourg, is the winner of the AMI Compétences et professions d'avenir (69,000 euros), which creates a career platform “Choosing energy renovation”. As for Alsatis, it must develop the PCN 5G project, a 5G private mobile network solution (400,000 euros).

The trip to the Channel will be my 53rd in France since the start of my mission, almost three years ago. Of course, there is this context that everyone knows, with concerns related to the budget and growth. But when I meet bosses, they talk to me more about the difficulty of recruiting, and the consequences for their business. On the pitch, what I feel is enthusiasm and optimism. We are in a zone of turbulence, it is true, but I do not see a decline. Rather a very beautiful energy.
