Campuac town hall recalled the projects carried out in 2025, and looked back on the great contribution of the new café since its recent takeover.
The mayor of Campuac, Thierry Goumon, invited the population this Sunday, January 12 to the village hall to offer his best wishes and take stock of municipal life. After welcoming the civil and military personalities, and excusing those who were absent, the mayor, joining all the elected officials and agents of the municipality, wished everyone a happy new year 2025.
After some flashbacks to the year 2024 on a national level, and after expressing some fears about the financing of 2025 projects, he took stock of municipal life in 2024, including, in particular, the finalization of the technical services building , road works jointly with the community of communes, work to modernize public lighting, ground signage, the resumption of the rainwater network in certain places and all the enormous work of the technical agents.
The village is reborn with the resumption of coffee
The 2025 projects will focus on the energy renovation and renovation of the village hall, the school and the apartments above and its accessibility, as well as a study on the renovation of the quillodrome.
The highlight of 2024 is of course the takeover of the café by Alisson Pastor. With this opening, village life is reborn. Thanks to Alisson without forgetting his parents who were so present. Major works are underway, carried out smoothly by artisans from the village or neighboring villages.
-We will also mention the grocery store project. Since its closure and after several proposed solutions, the municipal council has validated the purchase of the old presbytery in order to create a new grocery store, but also to develop two housing units. Thank you to the members of the diocesan council for accepting the purchase offer. The mayor sent special recognition to Nicolas Vidalenc who, to everyone's satisfaction, opened his small business immediately after the grocery store closed.
New inhabitants in 2024
After welcoming the new inhabitants (8 families moved to Campuac in 2024), then came thanks to elected officials, municipal agents, craftsmen and traders who keep the village economy alive, teachers and staff of the school, to the presidents and volunteers of the associations which work for the well-being of Campuac, as well as to the flowering team, the maintenance of the church etc.
It was up to Mr. Anglars, senator and departmental advisor representing Mr. Viala, to conclude this assembly of wishes for 2025. A drink of friendship closed the morning.
