Thanks to Boakye's masterpiece, Saint-Étienne snatches a draw against Nantes

A result that suits no one. This Sunday, January 19, AS Saint-Etienne faces FC Nantes for the eighteenth day of the French championship. Boakye's masterpiece

As soon as they returned from the locker room, AS Saint-Etienne was close to getting back into the match. Ideally found by Fomba and alone on the left of the area, N'Guessan presents himself against Lopes, whom he deceives with a dive ball. The ball falls a few centimeters from the right post (48th). In the second half, the Nantes bloc took a step back. At the end of the match, Antoine Kombouaré's players broke down. Served between the lines, Boakye quickly turns around and unleashes a missile from the left which pierces the opposite corner, from outside the area (1-1, 86th). Behind, Eirik Horneland's men pushed to snatch victory… in vain. Finally, the referee ended the match after five minutes of added time (90'+5).
