Reading Nights return for their 9the edition, on a national scale, from January 23 to 26, and the South Vendée responded to bring the event to life locally. The activities will be placed under the theme of heritage.
On January 23, the Cezais library (Rives-du-Fougerais) will get the ball rolling, with reading time from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Then, on Friday the 24th, a games evening is planned at the Doix-lès-Fontaines library from 8 p.m. (construction of a Lego village); a literary quiz will be organized in the room of the Amicale laïque de Fontenay at 7:15 p.m.; texts by Maupassant will be read from 8:30 p.m. at the Xanton-Chassenon library; the author Danièle Roux will come to the Terval library at 8 p.m., and the author Patrick Airaud to the Thouarsais-Bouildroux library at 8:30 p.m.
Finally, on Saturday 25, there will be a meeting with the author Delphine Giraud at 6 p.m. at the Mouzeuil-Saint-Martin library, and readings of stories and texts on the theme of heritage, at 6 p.m. in the community room. -cultural of Thiré.
