This Eure Tennis team qualifies for the second round of the French Championship

The women's team 55 of the Tennis Club Verneuil (Eure) participated, Sunday January 12, in the first round of the French Championship. The players then traveled to Tours.

Singles 1. Isabelle Houtmann 15/2 TCV, wins against Sandrine Bietry 15/3, 6/2 6/4.

Singles 2. Michèle Borie 15/3 TCV, wins against Véronique Renou 15/4, 6/4 6/1.

Singles 3. Alice Da Silva 30/1 TCV, loses against Nathalie Lombardi 15/4, 6/1 6/0.

To decide between the teams, a decisive double, worth two points, remained to be played. Isabelle and Michèle win 5/7, 7/5 and 10/7 in the super tie-break.

On the move to Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The Vernolian team therefore wins the match, 4/1 and qualifies for the second round. The players will play, still on the road, on January 19 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
