Loïc Taillanter, the mayor of Parmain (Val-d'Oise) was clear in presenting his wishes on Saturday January 11, 2025.
“At Parmain, we prefer field efficiency. Less bureaucracy, more local action. Optimism is not an option, it is an art of living,” declared in the preamble the man who has held the position of mayor (Se) since July 2020.
In front of several hundred of his constituents, the councilor developed in this tone the future areas of work with the municipality.
Unifying projects
The living environment will be at the center of concerns for this year.
“For living well together, what could be better than unifying projects? » The municipality acquired a plot of 3,000 m22 around the old dam house, located at Pré du Lay.
“As the call for projects for the exploitation of this land heritage has not been the subject of a satisfactory project, we have decided for 2025 to favor the development of this plot into a public space, with a leisure area, green spaces, play areas for children as well as relaxation areas for families,” adds the councilor.
Tree plantations
A greening program will continue with two new tree plantings (from the Jean-Sarment room to rue Paul-Ferry and from rue Paul-Ferry to the north of the city) which follow those already carried out on Allée des Peupliers.
-On the urban planning side, Parmain has launched a study on its city center.
“A complete redevelopment is envisaged: livelier shops, more welcoming accommodation, more practical parking and free spaces. We will also devote a larger budget to our roads which need it. As part of our approach to energy efficiency, the city is continuing its efforts by converting public lighting into LED paving stones,” explained Loïc Taillanter before announcing some good news. “Despite the surge in various costs and even if this commitment is not simple, we have made the decision not to increase the property tax. »
Plu puzzle
The mayor also announced that “the new local urban plan (Plu) finally came into force in September. “A real headache to reconcile conflicting interests. But our desire was to find a happy medium. »
The security of the Parminois will be ensured by the merger of their municipal police with that of L'Isle-Adam, which represents sixteen agents mobilized in the two municipalities, supplemented by the installation of 38 video protection cameras at the end of the month.
Access to care is also one of the priorities: “You should know that 13% of Parmineis still do not have a primary care doctor. I am delighted to announce the arrival of a new doctor next February. Also, the sale, at the beginning of 2025, of the Maison Bourgeoise for the benefit of a center for neurodevelopmental disorders is an act of solidarity. Not just a transaction, but a promise to transform lives. »
