In “Little Red Riding Hood”, a story by Charles Perrault, the grandmother is not the wolf. In reality, the opposite can happen. A 77-year-old woman recently appeared at the Fontainebleau criminal court (Seine-et-Marne) for incestuous sexual assault by her ascendant on her grandson between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2018, in Fontainebleau and in a town in Var where she has a second home. The child, born in 2012, was between two and six years old at the time. The facts allegedly occurred when she was looking after him during the year or during vacations. Her husband, aged 81, was prosecuted for failure to report sexual assault on a vulnerable person during these four years.
The truth was not easy to bring to light. It took three beats for it to finally burst. It all started when the child, aged five, had multiple crises when it came to going to his paternal grandmother. Crisis, including an impressive one at the psychologist's: his eyes rolled back at the mere mention of going to his grandmother's house.
