Amdy Moustapha Mbacké takes the reins

This Thursday, January 16, 2025 Amdy Moustapha Mbacké officially took office as national coordinator of the Program for the Development and Modernization of Religious Cities. This event marks an important milestone in the implementation of the program aimed at transforming and improving religious cities in the country.

Under his coordination, the program focuses on several aspects, including upgrading roads, improving public services such as water and electricity, and establishing new sanitation facilities. The objective is to facilitate access and guarantee a healthy and dignified living environment for residents and visitors of these cities.

This program is essential not only for the religious cities themselves, but also has an impact on the entire country by strengthening the cultural and religious heritage of Senegal. Ultimately, its efforts aim to honor spiritual heritage while adapting infrastructure to contemporary needs.
