Pregnant woman who died in her shower reportedly died of a heart attack

The first information spoke of “a fall” in the shower. But according to the forensic doctor who autopsied the body of the pregnant woman found dead in Vaucluse, it was a heart attack which caused the young woman's death. On January 7, a man called the firefighters urgently to ask them to intervene at his home in Uchaux, a small town located north of Orange, on the border between Drôme and Vaucluse. The man had just found his wife, aged 29 and eight months pregnant, unconscious in the shower.

According to our colleagues atHere Vaucluseit was indeed the heart attack that caused the young woman's fall. The firefighters could do nothing to save the mother-to-be. Her baby had also died when help arrived. Toxicological examinations will have to be carried out “to formally confirm that it is an accident”, specify our colleagues.
