M6. Is the best bakery in France located in the south of Oise?

The store, located in the main street of this town in the south of Oise, was selected to participate in the channel's television program M6. In the coming weeks, it will compete against other Picardy bakeries, including three from Oisien.

“A superb experience”

For its manager, Guillaume Coliniit’s a perfect opportunity to “put the village bakery in the spotlight” on a national scale.

If the filming has already been carried out, the broadcast will only take place in a few weeks, during February, in this program where the jury composed of Bruno Cormerais, Noémie Honiat and Michel Sarran travels region after region looking for the best bakers and the most perfect products.

“It was a great experience! It was not planned at all, it was the show that came for us,” says the 33-year-old artisan baker, who took over this establishment south of Senlis in 2022.

Those around me convinced me to participate and not to miss my chance.

For the show, Guillaume and his pastry chef Benoît specially created a bread and pastry recipe, based oncitrus and dried tomatoesin a nod to the Italian theme of the bakery.

Products created for the show soon in stores

Two products which will soon be offered for sale in the store, alongside sweet pretzels, pastries, trompe l'oeil and other baguettes, in this establishment which highlights its homemade.

“Here, everything is artisanal,” emphasizes the manager. “And what’s more, the jury loved our showcase! »

If I didn't make my own pastries, I would have all my afternoons free. But we have a love of the profession.
