Be careful on the roads of Deux-Sèvres. In its 4 p.m. bulletin, Météo France placed Deux-Sèvres on yellow snow and ice alert from 6 p.m. this Saturday, January 18, 2025 and until 9 a.m. Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Contacted, the Department indicates announcement “a preventive patrol by road officers this Sunday from 6 a.m.”.

The black ice surprised everyone this Saturday, January 18 in the morning when numerous accidents following slipping on the roadway were recorded from the south to the north of the department.

Beyond road accidents, firefighters also intervened for eighteen falls on foot and by bike, rather concentrated in the center and north of the department, in the sectors of Parthenay, Thouars and Bressuire.
