Lens tried to bring in a young striker from Aston Villa, but the file promises to be complex.
Amidst all the rumors that may concern RC Lens, a new name was recently released. This is Louie Barry (21 years old), current Aston Villa reserve player, and former player with the FC Barcelona youth teams. Loaned on numerous occasions, this versatile winger has just come out of a successful experience at Stockport, in the 3rd English division, where he scored 15 goals in 23 matches during the first part of the season.

According to the Daily Mail, Lens but also Celtic Glasgow have made an offer for Barry. The amount proposed by the RCL would be 7 million euros, plus 7 bonuses. But Villa would have rejected this proposal, given that the current 7th in the Premier League is not a seller. Barry could nevertheless extend his contract with the Villans, before being sent back on loan.
