The convoy, carrying a cargo of 930,000 euros, had left the Lyon suburbs and was due to reach a site near Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport. A police source reports that the load slipped from its support and hit the rear doors before ending up on the road.
A legal complaint against
After the loss, the highway company secured the scene and officers came to collect the bags of silver beads, some of which were open. Although most of the loot has been found, two bags worth 18,000 euros each are still in the wild.
