: third round of the Cantal Cup for the Entente Lozère

After the break, the players of Entente Lozère (R2) resume with a Cantal Cup match, against FC Moussages (D2). Kick-off Sunday January 19, 2025 at 2:30 p.m., at the Moussages municipal stadium.

After a winter break of more than a month, the season finally resumes for the players of Entente Nord Lozère (R2). For their first official match of 2025, the green and whites travel to their Cantal neighbors: the Club Moussages (D2), for the third round of the Cantal Cup.

The ENL players ended the year 2024 on a good note by winning 1 goal to 0, away, against US Sucs et Lignon, leader of the championship. The Lozériens will be keen to maintain this good dynamic, despite the break.

After facing US Murataise last week in a friendly match, this Cup match should allow the Saint-Albanians to get back on their feet and take stock physically and tactically.

We expect a complicated confrontation in terms of commitment and terrain, confided Lilian Condon before the meeting. We will have to respond from the outset.“Indeed, even if FC Moussages plays three divisions below the ENL, it is not the kind of team to take lightly. The Moussageois will be able to take advantage of their pitch, far from the synthetic turf from the Baïsse stadium in Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole.

Engagement

Even if it is still a preparation match before the resumption of the championship, Lilian Condon's men will have to play every shot to the fullest and take advantage of their technical and transmission qualities despite a difficult terrain to understand. Physical commitment will be essential, they must not let themselves be pushed around and make an impact to succeed in winning and quickly gaining the upper hand over their opponents so as not to give them hope.

Regarding the squad, the Lozériens will not be able to count on Bastien Ruat, absent this weekend, and hope to recover Romain Brunel who has returned to the senior group and who should play with the first team as soon as possible.
