The accident occurred around midnight on the night of Friday January 17 to Saturday January 18, 2025 in Saint-Hippolyte (Doubs). Around fifteen firefighters intervened on Rue du Champ de Foire after a car violently hit a wall on Rue du Champ de Foire.
-When help arrived, “a fire started at the engine level”, specify the firefighters. The fire was quickly extinguished using a fire hose. An 18-year-old woman was seriously injured. The two other occupants of the vehicle, a 16-year-old young woman and a 17-year-old young man, were slightly injured.
The three victims were evacuated to the CHNFC in Trévenans (Territoire de Belfort). The gendarmerie and the mayor of Saint-Hippolytes were also on site.
