Queven. A festive moment for Parkinson’s patients in Morbihan

Our association, created thirty-three years ago, has around a hundred members. Some people have been with us for over twenty years. Every year, we welcome many patients, as well as their caregivers. Every two months, we get together to share a friendly moment, like celebrating birthdays,” explains Mileine Campredon, president of the Parkinsoniens du Morbihan. The association distributes information to Afpa(Association for adult vocational training)nurses, caregivers and in high schools.

The association's objectives are to help patients and caregivers, raise awareness of the disease and raise money to provide wellness care to patients. Professionals speak every Monday afternoon, Cathy Jouannin, musicologist and gym leaders from the Sport 56 structure.

Yves Le Thiec, head of the Quéven branch, announces the association's next event: We are organizing a concert at the Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul church on March 2 at 3 p.m., with the Vie-Va La Voix de Plœmeur choir. Entrance is free, voluntary participation will benefit the Parkinson's cause .
