Investments at the Relais de Falinfluence will also go by the wayside. There was indeed talk of renovating the Relais de Falinfluence district from an energy point of view. It was to accommodate the administration as well as activities linked to water and with a family vocation. A “nature” playground, an area for motorhomes, water activities and a swimming area were also planned. These various projects were presented, in June 2024, by the ASBL des Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure, in a new master plan.
The Walloon Minister of Tourism, Valerie Lescrenier, clarified to our colleagues at RTBF that she would soon carry out a clear and complete analysis of the Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure strategy. This analysis will focus on all the investments that have been made on the Lacs de L’eau d’Heure site, on the infrastructures and their functioning. The aim is also to identify “optimization paths so that tomorrow, these investments will be even more profitable.”
As a reminder, for the moment, important lake infrastructures are not or no longer used such as the Aquacenter and the equestrian center.
