The marking training allows control of GR® routes and monitoring of departmental PR routes. The skills targeted: creation, modification and maintenance of trails and routes, regulations, marking techniques and respect for the environment. This training includes participation in two marking sessions with a team of official markers so that the future trainee has a better understanding of the work that will be required of them. Then, distance learning will be carried out followed by an internship. The training is scheduled for May 30 and 31 (dates to be confirmed). Cost: €98. To date, it would be necessary to strengthen the Dordogne valley team in particular.
The “Successful hiking” training is an introduction to hiking techniques. This course is open to all audiences. It is presented in the form of three modules: “Hiking with a map”, “Finding your way while hiking” and “Preparing your hike”. Training scheduled for March 8. Cost: €35.
“RP technique, Preparing your hike and orienting yourself on a route” is a one-day course. Its objective is to acquire knowledge of map reading and orientation while hiking. It is aimed at novice practitioners and future leaders wishing to follow the hiking leader certificate (CARP) training. Cost: €49. Training scheduled for April 5.
Another one-day course: “RP technique Design a route and practice using digital tools”. It aims to provide knowledge on route analysis and digital orientation tools. It is aimed at experienced hikers and future leaders wishing to follow training for the Federal Hiking Leader Certificate (BFARP). Cost: €49; training scheduled for May 10 (date to be confirmed).
-The CARP aims to prepare practitioners capable of exercising the function of leader of hiking tours taking place over a maximum of one day. Training planned for the fall over two non-consecutive days. Cost: €175.
