Conference. Nicole Castéra will be present on Monday January 20, at the town hall of Montégut, from 8 p.m., to host a conference on a subject that is particularly close to her heart. Indeed, she comes to present her enormous research work on the railways in the Gers from their origins until today. In connection with the departmental institute of social history of Gers, which allows her to enrich her knowledge, the native of Montégut will capture the attention of the audience thanks to slides showing stations, tracks built or not, why they were arrested and other anecdotes. In 2011, Nicole Castéra had already spoken in Montégut on the same subject which has been expanded and refined since. She also presented her work in Pavie, Castin, in front of teachers' associations and produced exhibitions. An enticing program for lovers of railway history.
