The Sainte-Livrade pétanque club, with Eric Charbonnier at its head, won the kings this Thursday, but also and above all strengthened its conviviality and the pleasure of playing together.
At the end of the traditional “melee” on Thursday afternoon, members and leaders gathered around the cake, not only to celebrate the king or queen, but to honor loyal sponsors or new ones like the Nomat company which offered the club a set of down jackets which will allow Livradais players to better withstand the cold weather of winter.
“The key words of our club are conviviality, the pleasure of playing together, but also the objective of promoting players who would like to play in regional tournaments, young people are not forgotten since the o, na opened a school of pétanque, it's only the beginning, but we have good hope of attracting kids from college or primary schools”, announces Eric Charbonnier president of Pétanque Livradaise.
In addition to this spirit of conviviality which reigns within this club, great performances deserve to be highlighted, such as the qualification of Isabelle Panis in precision shooting, she climbed to the first step of the podium in the Villeneuve- sur-Lot, and is therefore qualified for the regional final, selective for the French championships.
