After Viry-Chatillon on December 13 and Massy two weeks later, it was in Étampes (Essonne) that an SFR store was robbed this Thursday, late in the morning. “An employee and a customer were in the store when three men with a handgun and an electric pulse gun entered and asked to be taken to the reserves,” indicates a police source, confirming information from the Actu 17 site .
In the back room of this business located on Place Notre-Dame, the two criminals seized around twenty cell phones then fled in a car that was waiting for them outside. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the organized and specialized crime division (DCOS) of Évry-Courcouronnes, the former judicial police.
This robbery is the third targeting an SFR store in Essonne in a little over a month. On December 13, at opening time, four people broke into the SFR store in the E.Leclerc shopping center in Viry-Chatillon. Dressed in black, gloved and hooded, the perpetrators threatened the employee with a handgun and a knife before seizing around thirty telephones.
Two weeks later, in the Carrefour shopping mall in Massy (formerly Cora), two gloved individuals armed with a knife and a handgun were given several dozen smartphones.
