INFO RMC SPORT – The degreasing operation continues at Olympique Lyonnais. The Rhone club and Everton have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ernest Nuamah around 20 million euros.
Everton took action. As revealed by RMC Sport at the end of last week, the English club is heading towards Ernest Nuamah (21 years old). An offer worth 20 million euros arrived on the desk of Lyon leaders. An agreement between the two clubs has been reached. The Toffees are continuing negotiations with the player, particularly regarding salary, but all parties are confident.
The future of the Ghanaian winger, who arrived in August 2023 from Molenbeek, another club which belongs to John Textor, should therefore no longer be written in Lyon.
Initially loaned, Nuamah was definitively purchased by OL last summer. Six months ago, Lyon paid 28.5 million euros to exercise the option to buy the striker.

The former player from Nordsjaelland (Denmark) will never have succeeded in establishing himself in the Rhône. In 50 matches in all competitions for Lyon, he has only scored four goals. In 18 appearances this season (5 starts), he has only found the way once, on December 12 in the Europa League against Frankfurt (3-2 victory).
Under the influence of an administrative demotion from the DNCG, OL, in search of liquidity, has already recorded the departure of Maxence Caqueret. The midfielder, trained at the club, joined Como (Serie A) for a check for 15 million euros. Wilfried Zaha's loan from Galatasaray was canceled by OL. The Ivorian international will now join Charlotte and the MLS.
