Gorée, Guédiawaye FC and Wally Daan pass, Linguère, Pikine and Oslo eliminated

Several clubs from the professional elite left the National Cup prematurely in the 32nd finals. After the elimination of Teungueth FC, Dakar Sacré-Cœur and HLM Dakar the day before, it was the turn of AS Pikine, Linguère de Saint-Louis and Oslo FA to fall, yesterday Thursday.
The clash of the 32nd between AS Pikine and US Gorée, leader of Ligue 1, played at the Alassane Djigo stadium, ended with a victory for the Islanders on penalties (1-1, tab 5-6) .
La Linguère de Saint-Louis and Oslo FA, other elite clubs, were also eliminated. La Linguère lost to the amateurs of Damels de Tivaouane (2-2, tab 3-1), while Oslo FA was largely beaten by Espoirs de Guédiawaye (3-0). The latter, alongside Pout, will represent the Regional Division (D5) in the round of 16.
On the other hand, Guédiawaye FC ensured at home by dominating the leader of Ligue 2, Essamaye FC, with a score of 2-0.
Other elite clubs upheld their rank and qualified for the round of 16: Jaraaf, Casa Sports, SONACOS and Génération Foot.
