In Oise, a motorcyclist loses his life in an accident on the RD 1016 between Clermont and Creil

This Thursday, January 16, a serious road accident occurred around 7 p.m. on the RD 1016 in the Clermont/Creil direction near the town of Rantigny. It was more precisely at the level of the company Libertium Wattellier, a motorhome dealer, that the tragedy occurred.

A vehicle and a motorcycle collided, two other vehicles were involved in this accident.

The biker could not be saved

According to our information, the motorcyclist, in cardio-respiratory arrest when help arrived, finally succumbed to his injuries. He was a 30 year old man. No other injuries have been reported. There were a large number of firefighters and police officers present on site. Traffic was reduced to one lane but not interrupted.

Unfortunately, this is already the second serious accident on this portion of the RD 1016 since the beginning of 2025. The first took place on January 2 a few kilometers away and required a SAMU helicopter to be dispatched. laying on the road.
