Barriers have been installed at the entrances to the recycling centers and by April, Lot users will have to show a pass to access the drop-off platforms. We'll explain it to you.
In order to control the attendance and the quality of sorting of waste brought to the recycling center, the Syded du Lot will gradually implement access control on all of its 29 sites. Little by little, entry barriers were installed, in order to regulate uses and overcrowding of platforms and drop-off docks at given times. This practice, which will be effective from April, also aims to remove anonymity in recycling centers in order to secure the work of Syded agents faced with inappropriate behavior from certain users.

However, this will in no way change the operation of the recycling center. “You will only need to present your pass on telephone or paper at the entrance to the recycling center to access it and deposit your waste with ease,” continues Syded du Lot. Until then, you can continue to go to the recycling center as normal.
