The Ministry of Forests is beginning today a consultation concerning the development of territories affected by forest fires on the North Shore. The government is planning land preparation work, reforestation and repair of multi-use paths.
Quebec plans to adapt its forestry operations plan. Public consultation does not make it possible to revise the allocation of the territory and the rights granted.
Citizens can express their comments and find out about the operational integrated forest management plan on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests. The deadline to participate in the public consultation is February 9, 2025.
