Aging and insufficiently equipped, the current gendarmerie located on rue de la Gare “no longer allows us to respond optimally to the needs of law enforcement nor to those of Malestroyans and Malestroyens”, informs Bruno Gicquello.

To remedy this problem, building a new gendarmerie is necessary.

A working meeting with key players in this project was held recently. General Chuberre, deputy commander of the Brittany gendarmerie region and the western defense zone, Colonel Ardillier, commander of the Morbihan gendarmerie group, were present as was the chief of staff of the Morbihan departmental council.
