ADHA calls for responsive diplomacy close to Senegalese Abroad

In a constantly evolving global context, the ADHA advocated for a modernized diplomacy focused on the needs of Senegalese abroad, insisting on: a reinforced presence on the ground, increased attention to the living conditions of expatriates and sufficient resources for diplomatic missions, under rigorous management.
The association expresses its concern about the situation of Senegalese stranded in IOM camps in Niger, urging the authorities to accelerate their repatriation.

“These citizens, living in unworthy conditions, only aspire to return to their native land,” insisted the organization.

In terms of governance, ADHA requested clarification on the potential removal of special funds and other financial mechanisms for greater transparency and strict respect for fundamental rights in accountability processes.

ADHA concluded by welcoming recent efforts towards transparent management, while calling for a more responsive diplomacy focused on the protection and interests of Senegalese people around the world.
