Mehdi Bensaïd strengthens cultural ties between Morocco and the Arab world – Le7tv.ma

Mohammed Mehdi Bensaïd, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, and President of the current session of the Conference of Arab Ministers responsible for Cultural Affairs, led this Wednesday, January 15, a series of bilateral meetings with several Arab counterparts .

These talks brought together culture ministers from several nations, including Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Mauritania and Djibouti. Also present were the Director General of Culture of Iraq and the Secretary General of the National Council of Culture of Kuwait.

These exchanges helped to highlight the solidity of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and these sister countries, while highlighting the excellence of cooperation in various areas.

Mr. Bensaïd reaffirmed Morocco’s constant commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to joint Arab action and multilateral cooperation, according to an ambitious and inclusive vision.

The discussions focused on several themes, including strengthening cultural exchanges, sharing expertise in the fields of heritage and culture, as well as coordination within regional and international bodies. Questions of common interest, such as the impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence on the cultural field, were also discussed.

These meetings coincided with the holding of the 24th session of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Culture, organized in Morocco. This session concluded with strategic recommendations aimed at modernizing and revitalizing the cultural sector in a world undergoing digital transformation.

With these efforts, Morocco confirms its role as a pillar in the Arab cultural landscape, by promoting strengthened cooperation and responding to contemporary challenges with vision and determination.
