(Keystone-ATS) “The integration of refugees from Ukraine into the labor market is clearly a priority for Switzerland,” declared the head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police during a round table at the Federation of French-speaking Enterprises (FER). In front of an audience of business leaders and civil servants, he recalled that the Federal Council had set “the ambitious objective of an activity rate of 45% at the end of the year”.

However, “the Geneva figures are striking: among the approximately 2,400 people with S status of working age, around 330 have a job. Or 14.3%,” he continued.
