The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, made several appointments in Senegalese customs, which has a new Director General, on Wednesday in the Council of Ministers.
According to the press release from the weekly meeting of the Senegalese government, Babacar Mbaye, Principal Inspector of Customs of exceptional class, previously Director of Customs Operations, is appointed Director General of Customs, replacing
I’m going to Him.
According to the same document, Ousmane Kane, Senior Customs Inspector of exceptional class, previously Northern Regional Director, is appointed Director of Customs Operations, replacing Babacar Mbaye.
For their part, Papa Thialaw Fall, Senior Customs Inspector of exceptional class, previously Director of Internal Control of Customs, is appointed Director of Regulation and International Cooperation, replacing Pape Ndiaye; Soulé Ciré Bocoum, Principal Customs Inspector, previously Financial Inspector at the IGF, is appointed Director of Internal Control at Customs, replacing Papa Thialaw Fall; Amidou Ndiaye, Senior Customs Inspector of exceptional class, previously Director of Intelligence, Risk Analysis and Value, is appointed Director of Customs Information Systems, replacing Abdourahmane Wade who was called to other functions.
Among other appointments, there is Ibrahima Faye, Senior Customs Inspector of exceptional class, previously Regional Director of Dakar-Port, is appointed Director of Intelligence, Risk and Value Analysis, replacing Amidou Ndiaye called to other functions, while Ndiaga Soumaré, Principal Customs Inspector of exceptional class, previously Head of the Hydrocarbons Office at the Customs Operations Directorate, is appointed Director of Customs Investigations, replacing Issa Niang.
