The Group Crédit Agricole du Maroc (GCAM) and Central Danone launched the first training sessions aimed at breeders and their families. This program, developed by the Center for Studies and Research of Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CERCAM), is part of the partnership agreement signed in 2024 between the two entities.
The training, which will begin in 2025, will focus on two main components:
- Basic financial education : provide breeders with the essential knowledge to manage their finances, promote their economic autonomy and improve their resilience in the face of financial challenges.
- Technical training on dairy farming : support producers in the adoption of modern practices for increased productivity and better sustainability of their farms.
These initiatives are part of the program Hlib Bladiled by Centrale Danone, which currently supports more than 10,000 small breeders across the Kingdom.
Ali Benmokhtar, Central Director of CERCAM, welcomed this partnership as a significant step forward towards financial inclusion in rural areas, declaring: “This training will directly improve the quality of life of breeders and the sustainability of their activities. » Anass El Ayachi, Director of Upstream Dairy at Centrale Danone, for his part, underlined the company’s ambition to combine technical and financial development of breeders with a sustainable and inclusive vision for the Moroccan agricultural sector.
-This program illustrates the shared commitment of Centrale Danone and GCAM to supporting small producers by providing them with tools to adapt to the growing demands of the agricultural sector.
