Three individuals arrested in Trois-Rivières

Patrol officers went to a home on Sainte-Cécile Street around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday following a call made to 911. The victim mentioned having been kidnapped and beaten. His bank card and his car were also allegedly stolen. On site, police arrested three men. They also located the victim’s vehicle in the parking lot of a business where purchases had been made with the victim’s bank card.

The three suspects were met by investigators at the headquarters of the Trois-Rivières Police Department. A 32-year-old man was released without charge while the other two, aged 40 and 29, are detained and will appear before the end of the day to answer numerous charges.

The victim suffered injuries which did not require his transport to the hospital.

A search took place in the residence on rue de Sainte-Cécile by investigators and a forensic identification technician in order to collect evidence related to the event.
