RETURN TO PEACE, LOVE AND HARMONY, PILOHA

Piloha, their composite exhibition project, was one of the proposals that caused a sensation as part of the OFF of the 15th edition of the Biennale of Contemporary African in Dakar, which officially closed on December 7.

A few weeks after the end of this edition of Dak’Art 2024, Raïssa Hachem and Pascal Nanpémanla Traoré agreed to return to this Peace, Love and Harmony (Piloha) project, which charmed visitors, from the youngest to the oldest because of its multiscilpinarity and its originality.

Raïssa and Pascal, the two initiators of the project, explain the starting point of their initiative, the implications, the mobilization of the different artists, as well as the reception given to the project by visitors.

A composite exhibition through which they reconciled multiple artistic expressions: from painting to dance, from photography to cinema, including cooking and discussion panels where intellectuals and artists rubbed shoulders with enthusiasm.
