a “modest” year announced

This year 2025 will be “modest” given the current situation, declared the mayor of Landisacq (Orne), Béatrice Guyot.

The city-stade will not be created due to budget restrictions this year. The village bakery has obtained a reduction in charges for the year 2024.

Fight against burglaries

Following several burglaries in the town, two meetings Public awareness campaigns will be set up, supervised by the gendarmerie, to allow residents to spot the signs, monitor the surroundings and thus notice suspicious comings and goings.

One person per district will be designated to ensure the security of the latter.

Road security will be put in place at the entrance to Landisacq from Chanu and near Fourmis Vertes to prevent motorists from excessive speed.

Population decline

For the assessment of the year 2024, following the census, the numbers are falling. The loss of around twenty inhabitants was noted.

In February, a TREE was planted in collaboration with local school students to raise awareness among children.

The egg hunt annual event brought together 13 children. Fire safety standards have been upgraded in the buildings. Sylvain Roussel, a former firefighter, was honored for his retirement.

November 10th seniors meal took place. For the commemoration of November 11, a wreath was laid at the war memorial. It was followed by the meal for veterans, whose association is dissolved as of this year due to lack of fighters.

Two points of composting were inaugurated and “very appreciated” by the residents.
