Ten departmental agents were attacked on Tuesday January 14 in Lille, “ici Nord” reported on Wednesday. A man and his partner broke into the Maison Nord Solidarités in Lille-Vauban, which brings together many social professionals. The man accompanied his partner who came to see his children during a publicized visit, in the presence of a qualified third party.
The latter fled with two of her children, entrusted to the ASE (social assistance for children). Ten departmental officers were violently attacked. One of them, in shock, is still hospitalized. The attacked officers filed a complaint on Tuesday. The children were found this Wednesday morning by the police and immediately taken into care.
The president of the Northern department, Christian Poiret, expressed his indignation and condemned acts “unbelievably violent both for the young children kidnapped and for our departmental agents”. On the door of the Maison Nord Solidarité in Lille-Vauban a poster indicates that the service is closed until Friday inclusive.
