Financial exchanges in Morocco: Ora Technologies launched ORA Cash

Moroccan startup Ora Technologies has launched ORA Cash, the country’s first social mobile wallet, designed to revolutionize financial exchanges. Developed by Moroccans for Moroccans, this application combines advanced financial services and social features, allowing instant money transfers, message exchange, and payments via QR code.

ORA Cash stands out for its ease of use: registration takes just a minute, and users can transfer money for free, pay bills and withdraw funds at more than 5,000 branches. By partnering with M2T, the app offers robust financial services and reduced fees for merchants, encouraging the shift to digital payments.

Entirely developed by local talents, ORA Cash aims to be accessible to everyone, including underbanked populations. It aims to become a major player in digital payments in Morocco, reaching hundreds of thousands of users, particularly among young people aged 18 to 40, and contributing to the country’s digital transformation.
