Angelique Sellaresident of Clos-Fontaine (Seine-et-Marne), East childminder and has just created his association “ EH Watch Me O Natur’Elles » in order to propose different actions to her colleagues and the children in their care.
Between recognition of the profession, creative workshops or training, the president of this brand new association is determined to make things happen to develop this profession.
“Very often, in this profession, we are alone”
“Very often, in this profession, we are alone. Even though there are childminder relaysome of us do not have transportation and it is complicated for them to reach the structures,” explains Angélique Sellam.
Based on this observation, she wishes to travel to the different surrounding communities in order to give childminders the opportunity to participate in different actions for them or the children : “Some municipalities like Clos-Fontaine, La Chapelle-Rablais or Fontains already give me access to multipurpose rooms in which I can offer creative workshops or be accompanied by professionals,” she continues.

“For the end of year celebrations, we are for example went to nursing homes and we created intergenerational links with seniors. These moments of sharing with the children were magical,” concludes Angélique Sellam.
The young woman is today at looking for other places to stay in the surrounding communities in order to offer these workshops to colleagues without transport.
