Subsidies, events… How Grand Montauban wants to support crafts

Goals : increase attractiveness of the territory and promote know-how. For the first time, an agreement between the Grand Montaubanand the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Occitanie Tarn-et-Garonne Region (CMAR 82) has just been signed.

Signed for three yearsthis partnership is materialized through actions such as animation workshops on the creation/resumption of businesses, individual support for project leaders oriented by Grand Montauban, the participation of the Chamber in strategic approaches to the economic development of the territory, its intervention among young school and college students of the Urban Community for promote artistic professions…

But also the participation of Greater Montauban in events dealing with the economic development of crafts, joint work promoting the employment of people with disabilities alongside craftsmen, etc.

A grant of €10,000 per year is therefore paid by the Urban Community to CMAR 82.

As a reminder, CMAR 82 supports entrepreneurs and heads of craft businesses throughout their lives, from the realization of the project to the transfer of the business, with the aim of acting for their development, their competitiveness and their sustainability.
