A car hits an electricity pole in the south of Pas-de-Calais: the accident leaves two injured

Two people were injured in a road accident occurred in the south of Pas-de-Calais, Brownishnot far from Bapaume, this Tuesday January 14, 2025 at 11 p.m. A car crashed into a power pole.

A man and a woman slightly injured

According to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis), the accident occurred on the RD956 at 11 p.m. Traffic had to be interrupted to allow repairs to the pole by Enedis services. A home was without electricity during the work.

Firefighters treated two victims, a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman. Slightly injured, they were transported without medical treatment to the Arras hospital center. The police and the mayor of the town were at the scene of the intervention.
