Thiès FC and US Ouakam join ASFA and Pout SC in the round of 16

Thiès FC and the Ouakam Sports Union (USO) qualified on Tuesday evening for the round of 16 of the 2025 Senegal Cup.

Thiès FC won brilliantly by beating Olympique de Ngor with a score of 3-0. For its part, US Ouakam dominated Ndar Guedj to validate its ticket.
Earlier, the Armed Forces Sports Association (ASFA) and Pout Sporting Club had also ensured their passage. ASFA eliminated Ndar Academy Foot (1-0) in a match played at the Alboury Ndiaye stadium in Louga. Pout SC, for its part, triumphed over the Thiéssois Olympic Club on penalties (6-5) after a parity score (1-1) at the end of regulation time.
The 32nd finals of this edition began on Tuesday and will continue until Thursday. One of the key events will be the meeting between AS Pikine and US Gorée, Thursday at 5 p.m., at the Alassane Djigo stadium in Pikine.
In total, 64 teams from different divisions – Ligue 1, Ligue 2, National 1, National 2 and regional division – are participating in this emblematic competition.
