Ten numbers to find out about your social rights. Since the start of 2025, Hauts-de-Seine has launched a unique number, the 01.47.29.30.32allowing residents to find out about the social benefits to which they may be entitled. In a press release, the Department indicates that this measure should “enable users to benefit from a first level of response and guidance” towards access to aid.
A department divided in socio-economic matters
The community opened this line to have information relating to several of its prerogatives. This will be particularly the case for active solidarity income (RSA). Paid to 56,000 peopleor 3.4% of the population of Hauts-de-Seine, this aid does not always reach those entitled to it.
According to the Department of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics (DREES), 34% of eligible people did not receive the RSA in 2018. This represents an amount of 3 billion euros.
The departmental services will also be responsible for guiding residents towards housing assistance, child protectiondigital rights and violence committed within the family circle. Because non-recourse, coupled with socio-economic difficulties, accentuates the precariousness.
Despite a very comfortable standard of living in several municipalities, such as Saint-Cloud, Vaucresson or even Marnes-la-Coquetteother towns in Hauts-de-Seine are characterized by much more pronounced social needs.
This is particularly the case in the north of the department, Nanterre, Gennevilliers, Colombes, Clichy-la-Garenne or Villeneuve-la-Garennewhere the share of households living below the low-income threshold is between 30 and 43%, according to the Family Allowance Fund.
For the 1.6 million inhabitants, there already exists a site listing the most 600 aides in the Altoséquanais territory: savoirremesaides92.fr. This tool was developed in 2023 by the department's Federation of the Socialist Party (PS).
