Around 5 p.m. Monday evening, an empty school bus skidded at the Papineau and Beaudry intersection in Joliette and severed a power pole, causing a power outage in the Bélair neighborhood.
Hydro-Joliette crews responded to the scene and power returned at 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The Sûreté du Québec is still trying to understand what caused the slippage.
