A 62-year-old English tourist lost her life while skiing on a black slope in the resort. She hit another skier who was stationary. The woman unfortunately did not survive this violent collision despite the rapid intervention of the rescue trackers on site, assisted by the CRS Alpes teams and an emergency doctor. As for the person hit, he suffered leg trauma and had to be evacuated to the medical office at the Arc 2000 station.

Another ski accident also occurred this afternoon on the ski slopes of Megève in Haute-Savoie.
