No change of establishment for future middle school students in this town of Seine-Maritime

The decision was unanimous among Mayor Philippe Vincent and the municipal councilors of Bosc-le-Hard, in Seine-Maritime, in November: future college students will not go to Saint-Saëns college.

Despite this agreement, the mayor was awaiting a meeting with Chantal Cottereau, 9th Vice-President of the Department in charge of Colleges and Educational Success, in order to discuss this subject.

The project postponed

This meeting therefore took place in mid-December between Philippe Vincent, Chantal Cottereau and Clément Bouichou, fourth deputy in charge in particular of children and youth.

“A letter from Bertrand Bellanger, president of the department, had been sent to us two days earlier to tell us that the project was postponedbut the meeting was still held to discuss our different visions,” declared Clément Bouichou.

Indeed, the mayor and his deputy learned during this interview that When the municipality opposed the proposed new sectorization, the project was immediately postponed.

Good news for elected officials, who still hope that the project will not be put back on the table in the future: “The department is looking for a solution to relieve congestion at Clères college, which we understand given the number of students, despite everything, we remain in our position and we hope not to have to move our children from college in the coming years. »
