Official introduction of English to preschool and elementary school this Tuesday, January 14, 2025

The introduction of English teaching from preschool and elementary school will be effective this Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

In a post on Facebook, the Ministry of National Education indicates that this marks the start of a major reform in our education system.
The teaching of English was until now limited to middle and high school in the Senegalese education system.
Thus, young Senegalese students will increase the percentage of people speaking English in the world, one of the most spoken languages.
