Following the heavy rainfall, the level of the Loire reached 4.15 meters this Monday January 13, 2025 at Ancenis-Saint-Géréon (Loire-Atlantique).

Loire-Atlantique: Ancenis has its feet in the water

The situation is unprecedented. After six days of floodingthe Loire is in flood and the river level has reached 4.15 meters in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon.

The peak of the flood should be reached during the night.

If the paths on the banks of the Loire are prohibited to pedestrians and cyclists until January 17, 2025, some residents took the opportunity to go take nice shots of the river, out of its bed.
